A'nna Kelly is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, where she conducts research in the Laboratory of Dr. Amy McNulty focused on mechanotransduction and tissue regeneration for orthopedic applications. She is also a Senior PhD Associate with Duke Capital Partners, Duke University's early-stage investment arm, where she contributes to scientific and technical due diligence on emerging life science and biotech companies through the firm's student associate program. A'nna's experience spans academic research, translational science, and venture investing, with prior roles in biomaterials, medical devices, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. She is passionate about advancing women's leadership in STEM and translating research innovation into real-world healthcare impact.
