Sydelle Bernstein

Sydelle Bernstein is a Duke University undergraduate senior in the Class of 2026, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. She is driven by a strong interest in understanding human behavior, brain function, and the science behind learning and decision-making. Sydelle also pursues Duke's Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate and is a member of the selective Melissa & Doug Entrepreneurs cohort.
She is the founder & CEO of Students Who Sit, a student-led babysitting company that connects reliable, trusted student caregivers with university-affiliated families through a community-centered approach to childcare. Founded at Duke, Students Who Sit is now preparing to expand to universities nationwide. In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Sydelle serves as Vice President of Entrepreneurship for Business-Oriented Women, Duke's largest business-focused student organization.
