Shayna Dahan is a Duke student founder and dual-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist with more than 15 years of experience in pediatrics, adolescent mental health, and reproductive care.
She is the founder of WeGotYou, a virtual adolescent healthcare platform designed to make developmentally appropriate care accessible for high school and college-aged patients in ways teens and busy families can realistically engage with. WeGotYou provides proactive check-ins, mental health support, and reproductive health services focused on early identification, timely intervention, and ongoing continuity of care — serving as a bridge between teens seeking independence and parents seeking reassurance.
Her work is deeply personal. Having experienced firsthand the impact that guidance, mentorship, and trusted adults can have during pivotal life moments, Shayna is committed to building care models rooted in relationship, trust, and continuity. She believes adolescence is not a crisis to manage, but a transition to guide- and that the right provider presence can change the trajectory of a young person's life.
