Annie Nam

Junior, Trinity College of Arts & Sciences

Annie is a member of the Duke University Class of 2027 and a Co-Chair of Experimental Orientation 2026, where she helps create welcoming, curiosity-driven experiences that help students navigate Duke's academic and co-curricular opportunities. In this role, she collaborates with peers across disciplines to design programming that encourages exploration, teamwork, and meaningful engagement from the very start of the Duke journey.

At Duke, Annie is especially interested in how students transform curiosity into impact through hands-on research, innovative coursework, and dynamic experiences beyond the classroom. She is drawn to interdisciplinary learning and believes that diverse perspectives are essential to creativity, deeper understanding, and problem-solving. She values collaboration as a catalyst for both personal growth and community impact.

As a student leader, Annie is committed to fostering inclusive environments where experimentation is encouraged and learning extends beyond traditional boundaries. She is passionate about helping students discover the countless opportunities Duke offers and empowering them to build and contribute meaningful connections to the Duke community and beyond.
