Financial planning plays into Stephanie's love of hearing people's stories, being a lifelong learner, and having a real impact on people's lives. She frequently speaks to women's groups on topics such as the human side of money, planning for un-retirement, and financial wellness for Gen-X women. She is passionate about helping more women find and succeed in this profession. In her free time, she loves cooking, sailing, traveling, and reading mystery novels with strong female leads. Stephanie is married and has two kids in their 20's. She earned a master's degree in international economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and graduated from Duke University undergrad in 1989.
