Ana Zinn
M.B.A.'26, Engineering Manager, Honeywell
Ana Zinn was born in a small coastal town called Portoviejo, Ecuador, and immigrated to Toronto, Canada, at the age of three with her single mom (she’s her hero!). At 18, Ana left home again — this time heading to the U.S., where she found herself in engineering school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Today, she’s a mechanical engineer and currently serves as an engineering manager at Honeywell, leading a global Technical Publications team for Commercial Fire Systems. Her journey began with Trane Technologies in college as an intern, and after graduation, she joined their Accelerated Development Program. That program took Ana across the country for 2.5 years, rotating through different business units and roles — each one shaping the engineer and leader she is today. Ana is driven by the challenge of product development, productivity, and process improvements and by helping high-performing technical teams bring innovative solutions to life. Outside of work and school, you’ll usually find Ana chasing her red field golden, Zeppelin, around the yard (if you know, you know), or dragging her husband William Zinn (yes, another Fuqua student!) to Lowe’s for the next home renovation project.
